How to Set Up a GTA 6 Roleplay Server

Running an RP server takes a framework, a map stack, scripts and community rules. Each plays a specific role.

Framework choice sets your server's mechanics - job system, inventory, money economy, character creation. Pick one and commit early; switching frameworks mid-life is painful.

The map stack is where GTA 6 Maps comes in. Layer 10-30 free MLOs (precincts, hospitals, businesses, housing) to build a believable city. Test each map individually before stacking.

Scripts handle RP mechanics - dispatch, medical, legal, economy. Most frameworks ship with default scripts; custom script packs from creators add depth.

Community rules matter as much as the tech. Publish a ruleset, run new-player orientation, and moderate actively.
