What is a roleplay map for GTA 6?
Roleplay maps (often called MLOs — Map Load Objects) are custom interior spaces built for RP servers. Police stations, hospitals, mansions, businesses, courthouses — all with working doors, collision, streaming zones and markers RP scripts hook into.
Do I need a framework to install RP maps?
Maps themselves install via a file browser tool into the game's custom maps folder. To trigger RP functionality (evidence rooms, bookings, emergency bays) you'll also need an RP framework like one of the common multiplayer frameworks.
Can I use RP maps on my server commercially?
Free RP maps on GTA6MAPS.COM are licensed for server/community use. Always check each creator's specific license — some require attribution, some don't.
What's the difference between an MLO and a YMAP?
An MLO is a fully-modeled interior you can walk inside (multi-floor buildings, custom geometry). A YMAP adds new props, geometry or objects to the world — exterior focused. Most RP maps combine both.
Will my RP framework support this map?
