Custom roleplay maps are essential for any serious GTA 6 RP server. Police precincts with jails, custom hospitals, courthouses, government buildings and custom interiors for homes and businesses allow RP communities to build their own immersive worlds instead of relying on vanilla assets.
Good RP maps have collision, streaming interiors, proper lighting, working doors, MLO markers and RP triggers (evidence rooms, booking desks, emergency rooms). Most RP servers have between 10 and 30 map mods installed to customize Leonida and make it feel like their own neighborhood.

What is a roleplay map for GTA 6?
Roleplay maps, also known as MLOs (Map Load Objects), are custom-made interior areas for RP servers. Think police stations, hospitals, mansions, businesses and courthouses, with working doors, collision, streaming zones and markers that RP scripts reference.
Do I need a framework to install RP maps?
The maps themselves get installed via a file browser application into your game's custom maps folder. You will also need some kind of RP framework to enable RP functionality (evidence rooms, bookings, emergency bays), such as one of the big multiplayer frameworks.
Can I use RP maps on my server commercially?
All free RP maps uploaded to GTA6Maps.com are licensed for use on your server or community. Please check each creator's individual license - some ask for attribution and some don't.
What's the difference between an MLO and a YMAP?
An MLO is basically a fully-modeled interior you can walk inside (multi-floor buildings, custom geometry). A YMAP places new props, geometry or objects into the world and is exterior-focused. RP maps will normally have both.
Will my RP framework support this map?
Most free RP maps work with any popular multiplayer framework out of the box. Check each listing's compatibility tags for framework-specific notes.
