Building Your First MLO Interior (Advanced)

Creating an MLO interior takes 4 stages: blocking out the space, setting up collision, configuring streaming zones and adding RP framework markers.

Start with a clean mesh under 150k triangles per room. Separate ceiling, floor, walls and props into their own mesh groups for easier texturing later.

Collision is critical. Every surface a player or NPC can walk on needs a collision mesh. Use low-poly collision that matches the visual geometry.

Streaming zones determine when the interior loads. Place zone triggers at door thresholds so the interior streams in as the player approaches.

Add RP framework markers last - evidence rooms, holding cells, triage bays. These are the hook points RP servers use to trigger scripts.
